Last week I attended the Associational Mission Strategists Excellence Summit hosted by the North American Mission Board.
At that conference I was reminded of the HUGE gap between Northwest Southern Baptists and the rest of North America. In the NWBC we have apporximately 500 churches, serving a population of around 11 million people in Washington, Oregon, the panhandle of Idaho, and a number of churches in Northern California. In comparison some of the associations represented at the conference have upwards of 400 churches - in one major metropolitan area! One is not like the other!
I also learned that as different as we might be the same challenges faces all of us. LOSTNESS is still the most pressing need of the hour. People who do not know Jesus Christ need to know Him. This is not an inner city problem or a rural issue - it is THE challenge.
There are so many good reasons to communicate with site visitors. Tell them about sales and new products or update them with tips and information.
